Dear , October has arrived, the days are getting shorter and the warmth of the summer sun seems to be fading. It’s easy for us to look back and wish for the joy and ease of the summer months to return to us. However, this period of the year provides us with a great opportunity for reaching out to people of all ages, through the many services and activities taking place around our diocese. ‘The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.’ Isaiah 40:8 Please let us know if we can help you during this period. New Worshipping Communities Taster Day If you are a lay leader, member of the clergy, or anyone who is passionate about seeing the church grow, then Archdeacon Barry would like to invite you to The ‘New Worshipping Communities Taster Day’. This interactive event will showcase worship sessions in a variety of styles, opportunities to connect with other like-minded leaders and times to reflect on our personal call to mission. The Diocese of Coventry has set itself the target of establishing 150 New Worshipping Communities by 2030. Much of this work will be a part of the life of the whole church family, so in recognition of this, we have created an event that everyone can engage with – both young and old, leaders and their families. All ages are welcome and there will be plenty of fun (and food) for everyone. Tickets are £10, but kids are free!  Register here
