What is it?
What is worship? And what forms of worship might be most appropriate in our own culture and context? These are important questions for the future of the Christian church.
Through the story of the Bible people worshiped God in a variety of ways, from slaughtering animals and sprinkling their blood on one another, to singing and reciting ancient texts.
Over five zoom sessions, Rob Harrison will explore how worship was expressed in different phases of the Bible’s story, and consider the significance of those practices within their own cultural framework. Each session will include break-out discussions about the significance of ancient practice to today’s church.

- 30th October – Session 1: Cain, Abel & the Patriarchs
- 6th November – Session 2: Moses & the Law
- 13th November – Session 3: From Tabernacle to Temple
- 20th November – Session 4: Worship in Exile & a new Temple
- 27th November – Session 5: Worship in the New Testament
Time: 7:30-9pm
Cost: £25 (£5 per session)

We recommend the whole course, but you can attend only 1 or a few if that is more helpful to you. If you are on a Pathway you need to complete all five sessions.
