John’s Gospel – A Storyteller’s Perspective Rob Harrison will unfold the drama of the narratives and the emotional resonances of the metaphors to uncover what John, the storyteller, is telling us about Jesus.
Starting on Tuesday 8th September, 7:30pm – 9pm on Zoom
Worship in the Bible Over five zoom sessions, Rob Harrison will explore how worship was expressed in different phases of the Bible’s story, and consider the significance of those practices within their own cultural framework

Real World Preaching Rob Harrison will explore the interaction of scripture and real life, considering the purpose and opportunity of preaching. As well as sharing practical techniques for maintaining real-world relevance, we will discuss issues of scriptural authority and usefulness.
Thursday 3rd December, 7pm – 9pm, St Giles Church, Coventry
Preparing a sermon This session, led by Rob Harrison, will be full of practical guidance on how to shape a theme, structure a sermon, make appropriate notes, and prepare yourself for preaching.

Understanding grief Anne Richards and Anna Naish will lead this five week course to help us explore the variety of things we grieve for, understand the grieving process, its complexity and what can be helpful to those who are grieving.
Starting on Wednesday 16th September, 7-9pm at Saint James the Great Church, Snitterfield
Pastoral Visits Anna Naish and Lou Peet will focus on what we can do to help put people at ease before and during visits so that they feel supported, heard and safe. This will include practical things we can do (and not do), how to listen well and how to approach spiritual topics or prayer.
Wednesday 21st October, 7-9pm, Holy Trinity Parish Centre, Stratford-upon-Avon
Active Listening Anna Naish and Lou Peet will focusses on how we can choose to be active and present in a conversation so people know the value we place on them.

Growing Faith Connections During this five week course, Anna Naish will focus on four key ‘connections’ that make a difference to including and involving children and youth in church life.
Voices Relationships Rhythms Purpose
Starting on Monday 21st September 7:30-9pm on Zoom. The final session will take place in person.
Intergenerational Church Anna Naish will be sharing ideas about how we can better involve a range on ages within the same worship.
This session is aimed at anyone exploring or involved in a ministry with children, youth or families or involved in leading worship in some way.
