Dear Guest,
The year is drawing towards its tinsel-laden end, but before we get there, we have two in-person training events: Active Listening (Monday 25th Nov.) and Using Music in Worship (Wednesday 27th Nov.). There is space at both these events, should one of them interest you.
Looking beyond the tinsel into 2025, we are delighted to offer a five-week in-person course on Luke’s Gospel, led by a new member to our course leading team, Andy Ruffhead. We are equally delighted to be partnering with Coventry Cathedral for five-week in-person course on Reconciliation. Details of both are below.
Finally… from next year if you introduce Equip Hub to someone who has not signed up before, they will get the first course or training event they attend for free. So, Equip Hub membership may not make an ideal Christmas present, but it is still worth giving.

Bereavement Ministry Pathway
Everyone on this Pathway is able to learn and reflect on what grief is and how we can sit with people and support them at a very vulnerable time of their lives. It will encourage us to think about ourselves and what we personally bring to this ministry.
There are two routes on this Pathway
Bereavement visiting creates space to explore the differences that grief brings in how we support people and how we might develop personal support for an emotional role.
Taking funerals has specific sessions around planning and leading a funeral with the family & friends of the person who has died. (In order to take funerals there are further permissions needed, ask for details)
