Dear Guest,
When I hear the word ‘reconciliation’ I have tended to think of oppression, trauma and systematic division around the world and through history. These are big events that feel separate to me. Yet over the past few years I have been increasingly aware of our everyday need for reconciliation – recognising differences, tensions and sometimes disagreements.
Amidst these experiences I observe others’ roles and attitudes, and also sense the need to recognize my place within it with honesty. It prompts and challenges me to take time to get to know people and find ways to live with one another.
