What is it?
What is emerging as best practice for the Growing Faith vision in Churches, Schools and Households?
These 5 sessions will offer insights into some of the latest research, insights and stories from across the Growing Faith movement to date, and help leaders and practitioners structure their practices and ministry to children and young people, built upon four core ‘connections’ which are emerging across different contexts and faith traditions within the Church of England.
The blended learning approach for this new module developed in partnership with St Laurence’s Mission Hub will be imaginative, inquisitive and interactive. We’ll meet in person for our first and final sessions, and on zoom for the three sessions in the middle.
This course will be led by Gareth Irvine (vicar at St. Laurence’s, Foleshill) and their team.
Who is it for?
This course is open to anyone involved in or interested in children and faith. This might be a direct role in children’s and youth ministry in your church, school or community (voluntary or paid). Or perhaps you are involved in leadership, decision making or have influence in your church and want to understanding how you can help increase the engagement and involvement of children and young people.
This is also a core learning course for those on the Children, youth & families Pathways. For more details click here. (Please note that this cannot count as the ‘Biblical option’ for other Pathways)

Car sharing
We really encourage car sharing both for the environment and because we are aware not everyone has easy access to a car or public transport. There are a couple of questions in the booking form for those that would like to offer and/or receive lifts so we can connect people who are close to one another. Please note it asks for the first 3 or 4 letters of your postcode (e.g. CV6, CV12) so we can put you in touch with relevant people.
