Equip Update

Dear , For God there is no such thing as a menial task. This may be hard to believe when you are doing your fourth load of laundry, sweeping the floors or spending the day attempting to tidy up your garden but it is true. The same could be said for those who have committed to taking care of our church buildings. The work that goes in to maintaining our church buildings often goes unnoticed but those of you that clear out the gutters, notice that damp patch appearing in the corner and do something about that draft which seems to have appeared from nowhere, are doing incredibly important work. From the living room to the Nave, there is no task that we should consider beneath us as Christians. “For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building.” 1 Corinthians 3:9 If you would like to explore the everyday tasks that go in to keeping our church buildings maintained, have a look at the free ‘Maintenance Matters’ online course below.
