What is it?

When we meet with others we often navigating our own boundaries and theirs. We want the other person to feel loved, listened to and comfortable and we want to feel the same. Sometimes that is easy but not always (and it can be made more complex if we are meeting people with a specific role such as pastoral visitor, lay leader etc).

This session will explore key areas such as:

  • Physical boundaries, so everyone feels safe and comfortable.
  • Energy and time, so that we can serve God and have space to rest and rest in him.
  • Finances and gifts, so we don’t give or receive more than we should.
  • Faith conversations, Bible verses and prayer, how, when and when not to offer them.
  • Saying no, whatever our boundaries we need to feel confident saying no.
