September often feels like a beginning, perhaps as the routine of school runs begins, a renewed busyness on your commute or the absence of children and youth as we go about our shopping.

September can be a time to stop and pause and ask God…where are you guiding me? Where do you want me to focus? Who do you want me to reach out to?

As you scroll through the opportunities we are sharing, think…is there something for me? Someone I should invite with me? Someone else who might need to see this?

New Worshipping Communities Taster Day
If you are a lay leader, member of the clergy, or anyone who is passionate about seeing the church grow, then Archdeacon Barry would like to invite you to The ‘New Worshipping Communities Taster Day’.

This interactive event will showcase worship sessions in a variety of styles, opportunities to connect with other like-minded leaders and times to reflect on our personal call to mission.

The Diocese of Coventry has set itself the target of establishing 150 New Worshipping Communities by 2030. Much of this work will be a part of the life of the whole church family, so in recognition of this, we have created an event that everyone can engage with – both young and old, leaders and their families. All ages are welcome and there will be plenty of fun (and food) for everyone.

Tickets are £10, but kids are free!

We need your help with a survey to understand the impact, strengths and weaknesses of the Equip Hub.

The site was developed with funding from the national church, with the purpose of equipping people in the Diocese for mission and ministry.  Feedback is vital for improving it, and part of that funding is now going towards a survey of users to ask how and why you have used (or not used) the site, and what effect it has had.

The survey should take around 10 minutes to complete.  To encourage responses, the Church Commissioners are offering a £20 Amazon voucher to the first 30 people to complete the survey.  When you have taken the survey, please email matt.jermyn@coventry.anglican.org so he can arrange for the vouchers to be sent.

This course explores worship in the Bible to help us think about worship today in our contexts.

Making the most of Christmas
This FORUM style event will provide us with an opportunity to share things that have worked well in our context, and gather some fresh ideas for the festive season ahead.
