This booking page for this specific topic. It is part of a series called ‘Themes of suffering in the Bible’. If you are interested in the whole series click here.

What is it?

Tracing armed conflict through the Bible from war for land and position to periods of being forcibly removed and unable to be a part of their home nation. And, noticing the physical, psychological and emotional suffering caused for generations.

This session does not aim to solve the tension between suffering and an all-knowing and all loving God. But it aims to help us dig deeper into biblical stories of suffering and seek God within them and our wider world.

This session will be led by The Revd Su McClellan, Church Engagement Lead at Embrace the Middle East and Curate at Coventry Cathedral.
