What is it?

We are all shaped by the time we are born through the experiences, attitudes and expectations of that time. This can mean we can sometimes find it difficult to understand or connect with people who are older or younger than us.

Each session will take a particular age and stage to help us to:
• Reflect on the big things that have shaped that generation as they have grown.
• Notice the key needs, experiences and perspectives generally of that stage.
• Consider how and where faith is important to them.
• Reflect on where we personally have points of connection, can support them and can learn from them in life and in faith.

While ages and stages is the focus of these sessions age is not the only thing that bring similarity and difference. We will encourage people to bring their own perspectives & experiences and the knowledge of other peoples to add context and variety to these broader themes.

This course will be led by Anna Naish and Peter Privett.

Who is it for?

This course is open to anyone who is interested.

Course information

Date: Mondays 3rd March – 31st March 2025

Time: 7pm – 9pm

Venue: St. James, Fletchamstead, 395 Tile Hill Lane, Coventry, CV4 9DP

Car sharing

We really encourage car sharing both for the environment and because we are aware not everyone has easy access to a car or public transport. There are a couple of questions in the booking form for those that would like to offer and/or receive lifts so we can connect people who are close to one another. Please note it asks for the first 3 or 4 letters of your postcode (e.g. CV6, CV12) so we can put you in touch with relevant people.
