Dear Guest,
Christmas can be a time of both celebration and reflection, and it’s okay to take things one moment at a time. May you find comfort in the small joys and in the support of those around you. Whatever this season brings, we are sending you kindness, hope, and warmth.
This will be the last Equip Update of 2024. The next Update will be with you on 6th January 2025. Thank you for sharing your learning journey with us this year. We look forward to seeing you again in 2025.
Best wishes,
The Equip Hub Team

The Three Unwise Men
A short story by Rob Harrison…
“Not much is known about the three Unwise Men. They saw a new star in the east and they followed it. It wasn’t a tremendously bright star. But then, they weren’t tremendously bright men. Nonetheless, it was new and it was shiny, and they decided to follow it.
Their journey was long, and full of adventure, and it brought them in the end to the mighty Pacific Ocean, on the coast of China. After that, as they had no boat, they could go no further…”

The phrase ‘small groups’ might bring to mind cups of tea, reading the Bible and praying in someone’s living room. It can be BUT it is not the only way to do it. They can happen while walking, sharing a pint or distracting small children. The key to a ‘small group’ is being an intentional space where people can grow in faith through relationship and sharing.
We have two sessions coming up that will help us to explore why we have small groups and what they might look like. The sessions are designed for people to reflect on an existing small group or explore a potential group.
Monday 27th Jan & Wednesday 5th February, 7:30pm-9:30pm at St Margaret’s Church, Whitnash.
