Equip Update

Dear , In the season of Pentecost, we think about the power of the Holy Spirit. The New Testament’s word for power, rather like our own, can mean a lot of things. Overall, however, it boils down to meaning, ‘the ability to do a thing’. That’s how God’s Spirit works in us: he enables us to do things that we might not otherwise be able to do. You can think of it like electrical batteries. Batteries empower our devices, but you can’t put any battery in any device. A packet of AAAs won’t power your car, and you wouldn’t want a car battery in your hearing aid. What we need is just the right amount of power, at just the right time to get the job done. There’s no point expecting God to blow our heads off with his Spirit. Instead, we need to trust him to provide just what we need, just when we need it. Maybe there is something in this mailing that will be just that for you. Take a look!

P.L.F – Practical Skills for difficult conversations This workshop looks to equip people on skills needed to facilitate difficult conversations.
