Last Tuesday I had the joy of joining with 22 other people for a Pancake party. Full of joy, pancake flipping and too many pancakes. But the next day came with a challenge from church to read or listen to the Bible for 10 minutes each day. We have already missed a day. Instead of viewing this as a Lent failure we picked the Bible up again the next day to see what we would find in God’s story.

Whether you are giving things up, taking things up or have not made any plans. Remember to take some time to reflect on how you’re growing with God in this season.

Building relationship with your local schools
This session will be sharing and understanding what you can and can’t do it a community or CofE school as a local church. As part of the session we will be sharing ideas to make the most of festivals and blessing the school staff. We will be including fruitful examples from our experiences and look forward to you sharing your own experiences.

This session will be lead by the Diocesan Board of Education (DBE) and Growing Faith teams.

Difficult conversations
Conversations can be difficult for all kinds of reasons. We will be looking at how we navigate conversations where disagreement, challenge, and hurt arise in a pastoral context. We will also consider how we can end a visit or a period of visiting well.
