| Bishop John commissions Spiritual Accompaniers (Directors) |
It was with great joy to witness 28 people being commissioned and re-commissioned by Bishop John as Spiritual Accompaniers (directors) at All Saint’s Emscote on Sunday 6th March. Spiritual Accompaniers exercise a special ministry in walking alongside another in their journey with God. Spiritual direction describes the time given by one Christian to another which enables that person to pay attention to God’s personal communication with him or her, to respond to this personally communicating God, to grow in intimacy with this God, and to live out the consequences of the relationship. All Accompaniers are trained through the diocese and are part of our directors network. It is wonderful and encouraging that we have so many trained and available should people require this ministry. Please do pray for our Accompaniers and if you are looking for a Spiritual Accompanier then please do get in touch with me.

| Bible in British Sign Language |
The BSL Bible Translation project aims to make the very first translation of the Bible into Deaf British Sign Language. Trust funding is enabling the project to work on two books of the Bible (one Old Testament and one New Testament) with the help of churches and individuals in the West Midlands region helping with the review process. Do you know someone who could help?
They would like to make contact with churches or groups who are interested in the project who would happily visit groups to explain how the BSL Bible translation works and the importance of this project to the deaf community.
If you are interested please contact –info@bslbible.org.uk
