What is the Pathway?

This Pathway is specifically for people under 30. Not because their ministry is different but because it is often a time of change, growth and exploration in many areas of life; so we have tailored a Pathway for this stage:

  • Flexibility to explore learning and training for a specific ministry or to choose a variety of different ones.
  • The formation group is specific to this Pathway to create space to focus on the joys, challenges and growth among your peers.

Please note that all required learning and training sessions for Pathways participants are also open to anyone as individual session for those interested in a specific topic.

What is involved?

Completing the Pathway includes:

  • A set number of learning courses and training sessions chosen from the list below.
  • Formation group.
  • Practical experience organised by the participant and their incumbent – opportunities to explore and grow in this ministry.

It takes a minimum of one year to complete, but you can join at any point in the year and take longer if you would like. Sessions are spread across the year to give you time to reflect and embed the skills and learning you take away from them.

More information…

Each of the learning courses and training events are open to anyone to book. You might book as a taster, invite a team or want to refresh your ministry. You can find them all on the Equip hub.

To join this Pathway your vicar (or Churchwarden if you are in vacancy) will need to email Pathways@Coventry.Anglican.org with a short recommendation. At this point we will register you onto the Pathway and send you details for the formation group.
