What is it?
“Since I myself have carefully investigated everything from the beginning, I too decided to write an orderly account for you… so that you may know the certainty of the things you have been taught.” (Luke 1:3-4)
This fully online course explores Luke’s Gospel with its distinctive themes and its relevance for the Christian life today. Written by St Luke the doctor and historian, Luke’s Gospel gives us an insight into the compassionate heart of Jesus and the empowering life of the Holy Spirit. Whether you are preaching on Luke from the lectionary this year, or looking to go deeper in reading, understanding and applying the Bible, this course will equip you as we look at the major themes of Luke.
This course contains recordings and presentations from the in-person version of the course which is led by Andy Ruffhead, Associate Minister of St Paul’s, Leamington.
