Course information
f you are visiting this page in response to a personal bereavement we are truly sorry for your loss and pray that you may find some help and comfort here during this difficult time.
Bereavement can impact hugely and affect all areas of life. The Bereavement Journey course has been developed to help anyone who has been bereaved at any time and in any way.
By means of a series of films and discussion groups the first five sessions of the course gently guide bereaved people through the most common aspects of grief, enabling them to process the implications for themselves and discern the next steps.
The sixth session focuses on faith questions in bereavement. This last session is optional, thus making The Bereavement Journey suitable for people of all faiths and beliefs.
Each session involves two short talks, each followed by an opportunity for discussion in small groups. Topics covered include:
Attachment, separation and loss
The impact and pain of bereavement
Adjusting to change
Anger and guilt
Coping with others’ reactions
Moving forward healthily
