In 2015 the Church of England, Evangelical Alliance and HOPE together commissioned a piece of research commissioned by the Barma Group and ComRes to find out what non-Christians in the UK think about the Christianity and Christians. They also wanted to find out what Christians feel about sharing their faith with their peers.

One of the Key facts found from the research found that conversations with other Christians are one of the most important influences in bringing people to faith. Another key fact discovered that Christians are not always confident in putting their faith into words.

In response to this information the Talking Jesus Course was created to inspire and equip Christians to share faith in a natural and relevant way.

There are six encouraging video-based sessions with short films, inspirational short testimonies, real-life examples from people who are talking Jesus, and a short, easy-to-follow course book.
