Since the previous one of these days in early 2020, farming and the rural communities have seen significant changes due to European Withdrawal, Covid, the economic downturn, climate emergency and changing societal patterns among other factors.
Our hosts, John and Susan Moore of Walworth Farm, Bishop’s Itchington will give us a tour of their mixed farm, and we will be joined by various experts from rural organisations, including NFU, Parish Nursing team, Young Farmers, rural support charities and the Arthur Rank Centre.
Attendees will have the chance to hear the stories of a sometimes-hidden rural community, ask questions of those in the know, and reflect together on the task of ministering into this context and some priorities for rural mission.
You will need to come dressed for the weather of the day, and bring a pair of clean (ie no mud from other locations) wellies.
Please book by Tuesday 18th April.
