What is it?

You are invited to join us for a PSO Celebration Day at St. Johns Church, Westwood on Saturday 20th June from 10:00 – 3:00pm.

We are pleased to confirm that David Shemmings will be our guest speaker for part of the day. He is a prominent speaker and educator on trauma-informed practices, particularly in the context of domestic abuse and trauma and has contributed significantly to the understanding and implementation of trauma-informed approaches in various settings, including healthcare and education.

His work often involves sharing insights from his own experiences and collaborating with other experts to create resources and training programs that promote trauma-informed practices.

During the afternoon we will focus on educational opportunities with creative and celebratory activities which will include a quiz based on safeguarding scenarios that will involve teamwork, group discussion and debate.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided throughout the day and there is ample room for parking.

This will be a great opportuntiy to get together and celebrate all that you do to support your parishes throughout the year.

Bishop Sophie and Archdeacon Tim Cockell will also be attending to join in our celebrations.

We look forward to welcoming you to share this day with us.
