This is an interactive course designed for you to complete independently online – you can dip in and out of the course whenever you like, at your own convenience and you can take as much time as you like to do the course.
This course will look at each of the four Gospels in turn, so that you have the opportunity to get to grips with the unique approach to Jesus that each one of them offers. By the end of the module, you will have read all four Gospels and you will find fresh ways of talking about what Jesus means to you.
The learning objectives of this course are:
– To gain a greater confidence in understanding the Gospels.
– To widen your knowledge of some key resources to help you and others learn from the Gospels.
– To find fresh ways of talking about what Jesus means to you.
This course is split into five sessions which each take around two hours to complete. The sessions are:
Session 1 – Mark’s Gospel
Session 2 – Matthew’s Gospel
Session 3 – Luke’s Gospel
Session 4 – John’s Gospel
Session 5 – The Story of Jesus
