What is it?

For children who are neurodivergent (e.g. have dyslexia, autism, ADHD) churches can be a really difficult space. There are certain expectations, rules, people, lights, noise, silence that make it tricky. And yet, we are called to welcome everyone.

This session will help us think about the breadth of neurodiversity, how our church might feel for a family with additional needs and how we might make our church a more welcoming and accessible space.

This session will help us to think about neurodiversity:
• Within our shared worship time.
• Within children’s church and groups.
• In our wider ministries (e.g. community outreach, school’s work, clubs and groups)
• For both children and their families.

This session will be led by James Henney and Anna Naish.

Date: Monday 2nd June 2025

Time: 7pm – 9pm

Venue: All Saints Church, Rectory Lane, Allesley, CV5 9EQ

Car sharing

We really encourage car sharing both for the environment and because we are aware not everyone has easy access to a car or public transport. There are a couple of questions in the booking form for those that would like to offer and/or receive lifts so we can connect people who are close to one another. Please note it asks for the first 3 or 4 letters of your postcode (e.g. CV6, CV12) so we can put you in touch with relevant people.
