Difference Hosts Gathering

Are you thinking about running the Difference course? Have you already? Having done it, are you wondering how to build on the learning?

Through a time of worship, two workshops and short talks. Facilitated by a panel of facilitators and speakers from across several diocese.

We hope you will come away feeling more equipped to host context sensitively and resourced with ideas and practices that help individuals and communities apply the habits beyond the course.

This event will take place via Zoom on the 5^th February 2022 from 1:30pm – 4:30pm.

Exchange ideas from where people are at in the Difference journey for further encouragement and equipping in ongoing reconciliation ministry.

To connect a network of (aspiring) hosts

Celebrate the Difference learning journey through sharing stories; how the habits are being expressed in our personal lives and communities.

Reflect on application: eg. running a course in your context, new hope found in a situation that has been stuck, a new shared community practice or project.

People leave feeling equipped to host context sensitively: ‘how to know their group a bit more’ and respond to it.

Anyone interested is welcome to join, you don’t have to have experienced the course or led one to benefit from it.

You might get most out of it if you have read the program overview and explored the online training platform.

This event is not host training, but an opportunity to connect into a network of course leaders. To think creatively and prayerfully how this resource of the Difference course can be used most fruitfully in your communities.
