What is it?

This course focuses on formational development for ordained ministers who have recently taken on a new role or responsibility.

The course explores the dynamics of being a fruitful and godly Christian leader, viewed from practical, personal and theological perspectives. The focus of the programme is on personal development as a Christian minister.

The course is structured around three residentials which are held in the attractive surroundings of the Stratford Manor Hotel, near Stratford on Avon (complete with swimming pool, gym, and peaceful grounds)

Who is it for?

‘Developing Ministry’ is particularly designed for experienced ministers who are in the early stage of their second or third post of primary responsibility (e.g. incumbency, chaplaincy), for those whose existing role had seen a significant change of shape, and for those who have recently taken on a diocese-wide responsibility.

Residential 1 – Who am I?                              Tuesday 24th – Thursday 26th February

Residential 2 – What am I seeking?              Tuesday 16th – Wednesday 17th June

Residential 3 – Where am I dwelling?          Tuesday 24th – Thursday 26th November

Cost

This course costs approximately £1,400 per person, which will be fully covered by your diocese if they have invited you onto the course. You will only be responsible for covering travel costs.
