What is it?
A training day for churchwardens will be held on Saturday 11th November from 10am until 3pm at St John’s Church, Westwood Heath Road, Coventry, CV4 8GN.
Coffee will be available from 9.45 and refreshments will be available throughout the day, however lunch will not be provided.
The day will include these sessions:
- Churchwardens as Leaders, led by the Tim Cockell (Acting Archdeacon Pastor) and Matt Jermyn (Parish Governance Support Officer)
- Faculties and Legalities led by Jenny Dymond (Diocesan Registrar) and Michelle McBrierty (Registry Clerk)
- Using the Online Faculty System, led by Tim Latham (DAC Secretary)
- PCCs – how to do a good job and enjoy it, led by Matt Jermyn (Parish Governance Support Officer)
