This is an interactive course designed for you to complete independently online – you can dip in and out of the course whenever you like, at your own convenience and you can take as much time as you like to do the course.
An overview of the Bible which will help you to place the stories which you already know within the context of the wider biblical story and give you a framework with which you can shed light on any Bible passage that you read.
The learning objectives of this course are:
– To grasp the wider biblical picture and understand stories within their wider biblical context
– To understand the relevance of these stories for our lives as Christians today
– To be confident in communicating the main themes of the Bible with others
This course is split into five sessions which each take around two hours to complete. The sessions are:
Session 1 – Creation and Fall
Session 2 – Exodus and Kingdom
Session 3 – Exile and Restoration
Session 4 – Jesus, Cross and Resurrection
Session 5 – The Church and Creation Renewed
