What is a learning community?

Learning communities are two-day experiences which provide a unique opportunity to engage with inspiring training, personal life-changing revelation and a journey of discovery for your church as it seeks to discover ‘the ways of Jesus’. We’ll be asking questions like how did Jesus and the early church gather the crowds, raise ‘all of life’ disciples, build authentic communities of believers and raise world-changing leaders? This is the second gathering in this cycle.

Each session takes a church’s leadership team through a series of teaching inputs, exercises, breakouts, group coaching times, planning sessions and accountability moments. Alongside this, the senior leader is coached through the whole process. 

The gatherings take place over 18 months, with numerous church leadership teams coming together for shared learning, support and accountability. Each gathering moves through an arc of learning across three sessions:

• What is? Here, we face the reality of what is going on in the life of our churches. Where are we getting breakthroughs and where are we struggling?
• What could be? In the light of scriptural truths and the teaching inputs, what could our church be like in our wildest dreams?
• What will be? How do we translate these dreams into practical plans for the next six months and for the next two years?

When and where is it?

This learning community gathering takes place across Friday 11th and Saturday 12th October 2024. We will gathering from 7-9pm on Friday and 10-4pm on Saturday.

The next two gatherings will take place on 4-5th April 2025 and 3rd-4th October 2025.

Costs

The cost of attending has a base charge of £200 per church leadership team, with an additional £20 per person attending. 

The Mission Hub kindly funds the cost for any Anglican church, so Anglican churches pay £10 per person attending to cover food costs. 

Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
