What is it?
This course focuses on three habits: Be Curious; Be Present; and Reimagine. In the sessions it does this by reflecting on biblical stories, a recent story and creating space to include how our own story and experiences shape our thinking. These habits can have an impact on our everyday lives & relationships and affect how we relate to people and the life of the communities that we’re part off.
The content of the sessions is non-issue based because the skills and practices within it are relevant for any difference. It is brilliant in itself, but can also be a good stepping stone to get you thinking about particular differences your faced with in your context. The habits framework set foundations for introducing ways of navigating them, embedding them before engaging directly on a specific issue.
This is a hybrid course so:
• The first (Tues 5th Nov) and last (Tues 10th Dec) sessions will be on Zoom
• Between these Zoom sessions there will be four sessions to be completed independently using an online portal each week. This means you can choose when in the week you do each session.
This session will be led by Emma Crick de Boom.
Who is it for?
This course is open to anyone who is interested.
This is also a core learning course for those on the Reconciliation Pathway. For more details click here. (Please note that this cannot count as the ‘Biblical option’ for other Pathways)

Car sharing
We really encourage car sharing both for the environment and because we are aware not everyone has easy access to a car or public transport. There are a couple of questions in the booking form for those that would like to offer and/or receive lifts so we can connect people who are close to one another. Please note it asks for the first 3 or 4 letters of your postcode (e.g. CV6, CV12) so we can put you in touch with relevant people.
