What is it?
A day to be inspired, as we imagine together a brighter future for our rural churches.
Our first ‘Grow Rural’ gathering in 2022 was a huge success due to a mix inspirational talks and interactive workshop sessions, with opportunities to meet other like-minded leaders, and receive input from some expert guest speakers.
So we are doing it all again. Bishop Ruth, will be present to launch our day and share from her own experiences too. Colleagues from our Rural Hub church will help lead and facilitate the day, together with our Archdeacon Missioner, Barry Dugmore.
During the day, there will be time to connect with and be inspired by others who are committed to the ministry of their rural churches.
We sense that God is highlighting exciting opportunities for growth and renewal in our rural churches, and we would like to invite you to gather with us to celebrate, give thanks, and build hope for the future.
Who is it for?
The ‘Future for Rural Churches’ day is for Clergy, Lay leaders and anyone interested in the ministry and life of rural churches. We have designed this event to be interactive, inspiring and full of hope.
We are also encouraging those who come to invite others from their church to come with them to the event. Each of us has a different part to play in the body of Christ, and Church life is healthiest (and most fun) when we work together as a team and a family.

Time: 9:30am – 4pm
Venue: Claverdon Church Centre, Church Rd, Claverdon, Warwick, CV35 8PD
Lunch will be provided along with refreshments at various points throughout the day.
