Equip Update

Dear , At Equip Hub we are continually looking for practical ways to offer you learning and training that meets your needs, when you need it, as you need it. This month we are piloting a ‘mixed-mode’ approach which combines on-line learning (that you can do in your own time, in your own armchair) with zoom meetings. We are testing this approach with a brand-new version of ‘The Difference Course’. The series will begin and end with a zoom meeting. In between those meetings, there will be a new section of on-line exploration each week, and the opportunity to keep in touch with other people following the same series. The Difference Course is a fantastic opportunity to consider afresh how you relate and respond to people who are different from you, or see the world differently to you. Building relationship with your local schools This session will be sharing and understanding what you can and can’t do in a community or CofE school as a local church. As part of the session we will be sharing ideas to make the most of festivals and blessing the school staff. We will be including fruitful examples from our experiences and look forward to you sharing your own experiences. We will be looking at how we navigate conversations where disagreement, challenge, and hurt arise in a pastoral context. We will also consider how we can end a visit or a period of visiting well.
