What is it?
Deciding right and wrong is not always easy. So, where do we start? Which voices do we listen to? How do we discern concrete rules from guidance? This course will cover the basics of Christian ethics and have the opportunity to apply them.

Dates: Thursdays
- 9th November: Foundations – Thinking about how we decide what is right and wrong. What is a good person?
- 16th November: Biblical ethics – How we can (and can’t) use the Bible to help us navigate right and wrong.
- 23rd November: Social ethics – Exploring whether Christians should engage with social action and policy. And if so, how?
- 30th November: Ethical issues – Looking at views from both ‘sides’ of current issues and putting into practice communication skills for when we disagree. How can we listen and disagree well?
- 7th December: Applied ethics – Theory is not always as simple in practice. How might you apply our learning to real life situations?
