| Chair of the Coventry Diocesan Board of Finance |
We are seeking to fill the most senior volunteering role in the Diocese, whose principal task is to ensure finance is an instrument of the Diocese’s mission purpose of Worshipping God, Making New Disciples and Transforming Communities.
The Diocesan Board of Finance is a limited company and registered charity. It oversees the financial and administrative work of the Diocese. The budget is £11m and assets with holdings in parsonage houses, glebe and investments.
We are seeking someone who has the ability to think strategically about both finance and mission, and who can understand and interpret financial information. They should have excellent communication skills, be able to foster a collegiate manner of working and be an effective chair of meetings. They will be a practising Christian, with a desire to support the mission of the Diocese of Coventry.
The Chair works collaboratively with the Bishop and his senior staff, and acts as a ‘critical friend’ and adviser to the Diocesan Secretary & Chief Executive.
This is a non-executive, voluntary and unpaid role with a time commitment of approximately 2 days/month.

| Net Zero Carbon Project Officer |
28 hours per week. (some evening work/weekend work required – time off in lieu given for this)
£25,224.36 (FTE £31,530.45) per annum plus employer pension contribution of 8.5%.
This role is a fixed term contract until December 2025 which is fully funded by the national church’s capacity fund.
Coventry Diocese is committed to working towards the Church of England’s aim of achieving net zero carbon by 2030. This ambitious target covers several focus areas including Churches, Church of England schools, clergy housing, work-related travel and the diocesan offices. We are looking for a knowledgeable and passionate Net Zero Carbon Project Officer with the skills and experience to develop and implement our net zero carbon action plan.

| Associate Minister, St Laurence, Foleshill, Coventry |
The Diocese of Coventry is recruiting an Associate Minister, fully funded at incumbent level with housing, for an initial period of four years. This is part of an exciting and adventurous mission strategy to see healthy churches propagate, plant, or graft 150 new worshipping communities over the next ten years.
St Laurence are a community called to worship God, grow as disciples of Jesus and transform the communities of North Coventry in love. The new Associate Minister at St Laurence’s would join a vibrant and committed team who serve the life of the church, to help strengthen our capacity to resource other churches (local & networked).
We are seeking someone from a breadth of traditions who fits the following person specification:
– Self-starter who is good team player, but also has the skills and an ability to take on individual responsibility for key church growth projects.
– Has experience in leadership in a missional church.
– Teaching, enabling and facilitating in evangelism, everyday faith.
– Experience of leading or responsibility in a church plant, fresh expression or re-imagining the mission of the local church.
– Comfortable to work in a breadth of tradition to resource contextual mission.
– Engaging preaching and communication.
– Experience of developing and leading digital church services.

| Associate Minister, South Warwickshire Seven Benefice |
The South Warwickshire Seven (SW7) is a benefice made up of seven small parishes in rural South Warwickshire. We wish to appoint an Associate Minister to grow our Gospel work among young families, as well as to support the recently appointed Rector. A smaller part of the role will include working with the St Paul’s Leamington Mission hub to resource wider mission work in the local area.
We are looking for someone who:
– Loves and knows the living Lord Jesus as revealed in the Gospels.
– Empowered by God seeks to live up to the qualifications for church leadership as set out in the pastoral epistles (1 Timothy 3, Titus 1).
– Has a deep passion for the scriptures and a proven track record of communicating them faithfully and engagingly at different levels of ministry.
– Is willing to try new things for the sake of the Gospel, trusting that God will bring fruit in his own time and way.
The post will be fully funded for 5 years at incumbency stipend level and comes with a house in the benefice.

The Diocese of Coventry is recruiting an Associate Minister, fully funded at incumbent level with housing, for an initial period of five years. This is part of an exciting and adventurous mission strategy to see healthy churches propagate, plant, or graft 150 new worshipping communities over the next ten years.
Bedworth is a town located 5 miles north of Coventry. The town has a population of 32000 and the parish covers the town. There are two churches in the parish. The larger church in the town centre is All Saints, and a smaller church, St. Andrew’s. All Saint’s is a lively growing church with a variety of ages meeting across three Sunday congregations. St. Andrew’s is a small church mainly comprising of an elderly congregation with a range of new projects underway to enable it to grow and become part of the community again.
