What is it?
Each year ROC organise a conference specifically designed for churches. This year, they are excited to announce that the event will take place at the Yarnfield Park Conference Centre in Staffordshire. They are thrilled to have Noel Robinson, Lou & Nathan Fellingham as the leaders of the worship sessions.
The line-up of speakers is impressive and diverse, featuring individuals such as Debra Green, the CEO of ROC, Josh Green, the Youth Director of 24-7 Prayer, Mat Eason, who specializes in ROC Wellbeing and Development, Dr. Andy Knox, the Associate Medical Director for Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS, Gerry Howitt from the Beachy Head Chaplaincy, Laina Cooling, the Greater Manchester Crisis Lead for NHS Integrated Care, Robert Mountford, the Ecumenical Mission Officer for Black Country, Jet Jones Director of Community Transformation and CEO of Together for Change (Saints Nuneaton Project) for Coventry Diocese, and Paul Blakey from ROC Angels.
During the conference, they have arranged a series of informative seminars. These include the ROC Wellbeing seminar, where an expert panel will engage in discussions on mental health and suicide prevention. Other seminars cover topics such as Street Angels and Festivals, effective fundraising for your project, and the significance of Community Mentors and Prophetic workshops.
The conference package covers all meals and accommodation, ensuring a comfortable and fulfilling experience for all attendees.
Building on the ROC national conference in 2022 ‘Go Higher’, they are hosting a national conference again in November 2023!
The theme will be ‘Go Deeper’ based on Isaiah 58 v 12…
‘Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old foundations; you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings’
They also have a sense that God will be releasing new Keys to unlock places and buildings for Kingdom use.
This conference is aimed at equipping the church and Christian organisations with tools to reach and bless their local community.
ROC is an award winning community engagement charity with 18 years of experience in community transformation. In the last 3 years in particular their work has grown rapidly and they have been learning new ways of working.
Challenge has led them to lean more into innovation.
ROC is rooted in practical community action but they also have a strong prophetic edge. This conference combines both.
