| Canon for Worship and Welcome - Coventry Cathedral |
Coventry Cathedral exists to reconcile the world to God and one another.
Worship and Welcome lie at the heart of our Cathedral life. We meet with God and each other in this iconic space, both Ruins and mid 20th century Cathedral, for the reconciliation which is the gift of God in Jesus Christ. Would you like to be responsible for leading us forward in these areas, working with a dynamic and diverse team across the Cathedral?
We are looking for a person who will help us give practical and liturgical expression to the ministry of reconciliation which is our particular vocation. They will have liturgical skill and experience, and not be afraid to push boundaries. They will be ready to embrace a variety of worship styles, and be sympathetic to those who are both familiar and less comfortable with traditional cathedral worship. Above all, they will have a vision for hospitality, ensuring that pilgrims, tourists, worshippers, all who come here will know themselves welcome.
This post is open to ordained Anglicans, in orders for at least six years. We would be especially pleased to receive applications from those of Global Majority Heritage.
We will be holding a webinar to provide an opportunity for people to find out more about the role on Monday 26th June at 11am lasting no more than 60 minutes. The webinar will include some insight into what Cathedral ministry is like, some specific reflections on the role, and how to navigate the appointment process. We recognise that exploring vocation can be a personal matter that you may not wish to share with others. The webinar format means you will not be visible to other participants.

| Mission Apprentice - Risen Christ Church |
Is God calling you to come & join in with us?
Our current Missional Apprentice says: “The fact that this church is still in the early years of a church grafting process makes it a unique place to do this apprenticeship. This has allowed me to help establish the vision for my ministry area, taught me how to bring change in a humble way that honours what was before, and taught me to share my vision with others and raise up volunteers. It has been a very valuable experience!”
The Missional Apprentice track at Risen Christ Church is an exciting opportunity to invest in your discipleship and leadership, with opportunities to work across a range of church life areas!
This is a part-time, paid internship starting in September. To find out more and to apply, please get in touch with Revd Paul Pavlou: paul.pavlou@risen-christ.org.uk
Closing date: July 14th
