Find out about Emma, our Reconciliation Enabler Emma Crick de Boom introduces herself and what she does as the Diocesan Reconciliation Enabler. Hi, my name is Emma Crick de Boom (sounds like home with a B) and I am the Reconciliation Enabler. I serve this diocese and the wider West Midlands. I am both part of Coventry Diocesan staff team and part of Archbishop Justin’s reconciliation ministry team. My role is to help enable the ministry of reconciliation across all our parishes and Christian groups – inside as well as outside churches. To extend a reconciliation charism, or core-vision if you like, drawing on the spiritual heritage of the cathedral story, building on the shoulders of giants. Encouraging local-grassroots ownership of a reconciliation vision, which can’t help but be expressed in a myriad of ways. Read more

Hungry for More A learning community for those who lead times of worship. This group is a space where we can explore together what it is to be a worshipper, nurture in ourselves a more passionate spirituality, develop our desire for the presence of God, practice being in the presence of the Holy Spirit, and explore how we can better lead others into a more passionate life of worship. As disciples of Jesus, we are all on a journey of learning and growth. Diocesan News Living Hope In Living Hope: A Collection for Holy Week and Easter, Andy March invites us to take a fresh look at the world changing events of Holy Week and Easter. “Living Hope” is a collection of reflections, monologues, sermons and poetry; the fruit of a decade of parish ministry. Many pieces were written for all-age and school services, as well as “ordinary” Sundays. It’s an ideal resource, whether you’re need fresh inspiration as you plan your own services, or for something to inspire your own worship and devotion. Festival of Church Music The next biennial Festival of Church Music will be held in St Albans Cathedral on Saturday 14th October 2023. Singers, either choirs or individuals are welcome to join in with this inspirational occasion. Many denominations will take part. Local rehearsals will be organised this spring / summer. Gladstone's Library Gladstone’s Library, in Flintshire, has strong links with faith communities around the UK, and is a destination for people seeking somewhere to read, write or sit in quiet reflection. Diocesan Vancancies Vicar, St Catherine's Church, Stoke Aldermoor with New Century Park The parish of St Catherine’s is in Coventry East Deanery, an exciting and varied place with a very multi-cultural mix of people living and worshipping in our churches.  We have the fastest growing population of any deanery in the diocese and we are the most densely populated and most deprived deanery in the diocese.  This brings its own set of challenges but also opportunities as can be seen in the varied way each church is seeking to build the kingdom in their parish. The role offers great variety: working both within and outside the church building and family, you will be called to nurture and facilitate the growth of faith in parents, children and young people. St Andrew’s is one of six Mission Hubs in the Diocese of Coventry, so you will also be working with colleagues at St Andrew’s and beyond to equip partner churches in their ministry with children and families.
