In recent years the Deanery Planning process has enabled each Deanery with the opportunity to consider their mission and ministry at a strategic level, reflecting local needs and priorities. This process has highlighted that in some communities, the unsustainable burden of caring for church buildings is sapping energy away from mission, and hindering the potential and momentum for growth.
This is the electronic version of the Parish Building Survey, which has been designed to deepen our understanding of the specific issues faced locally by PCCs. It is important that the opportunities and challenges posed by church buildings is fully understood as part of this process, so that an effective strategy for the future management of these buildings which will better support our PCCs can be developed.
Some of the questions ask for information that you may have provided to the Diocese in other documents. We realise that this is frustrating, but if you are able to provide it again, it will speed up the process for this building strategy, and is much appreciated. Thank you.
*Please note that you will be unable to save the survey in order to come back to later, so please ensure you have all the information you want to submit from the outset*
